par-a-dox ('par-&-"däks) noun:
an apparently self-contradictory statement, the underlying
meaning of which is revealed only by careful scrutiny. The purpose of
a paradox
is to arrest interest and provoke fresh thought. The
statement "less
is more" is an example.
Paradox is made up of a group of people who are in the process of rediscovering the purpose of the church and the roots of the Christian faith. We don't care what you look like, who you are, where you've been, or what you have or have not done. We're simply looking for others who want to join us in this journey and have a good time doing so. So bring your questions, bring your thoughts, but come open to listen to those around you, consider their views, and work together to discover what God has in store for us all.
